Betting in Online Roulette

Roulette offers numerous betting options, which are determined by the placement of gambling chips on the betting table. These betting options are broadly divided into two categories:
1. Inside Bets
This type of bet is made on numbers that are directly located inside the number layout. It includes,
Single Number
Single number bet is also referred to as straight bet, double zero or zero. The player bets on a single number by placing the chip at the center of the square that represents the number. The returns are 35 to 1.
Split Bet
The player bets on two numbers by placing the chip on the line that separates the two numbers. The returns are 17 to 1.
Corner Bet
This type of bet is also known as square or quarter bet. The player chooses the block to bet on, which consists of four squares, and places the chip at the center of the block. The returns are 8 to 1.
Street Bet
To make this type of bet, the player places the chip on the line at the edge of the number layout. The returns are 11 to 1.
Special Line Bet
This type of bet is made by betting on five adjacent numbers, such as 00, 0, 1, 2, and 3. The chip is placed on the line at the edge of the number layout, on either side of the row containing zero and th3e first row. The returns are 6 to 1.
Line Bet
In line bets, the player bets on six adjacent numbers by placing the chip on the edge of the number layout, which encompasses the two rows. The returns are 5 to 1.
2. Outside Bets
Outside bets are made on the Roulette table, in the betting area that borders the number layout. It includes,
Dozens
This type of betting offers only three options for making the bet. The player places the chip outside the number layout, either on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd set of 12 numbers. The returns are 2 to 1.
Odd or Even
The player either bets on odd numbers or even numbers in this type of betting. The chip is placed outside the number layout. The return is even.
Red or Black
In this type of betting, the player can bet either on all the red numbers, or on all the black numbers. The chip is placed on the location outside the number layout. The return is even.
Column Bets
Column bets offers three betting options and the player can bet on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd column of numbers in the layout. The chip is placed outside the layout. The returns are 2 to 1.
